LifeVac Anti-Choking Rescue Device for Adult and Child Non Invasive First Aid

We thankfully have never had to use this so I can’t review how it works BUT it fits in our diaper bag perfectly!

We have immense sense of relief knowing we have these on hand. We have a home daycare and keep one accessible at all times. When we travel personally we also throw one in the vehicle. Must have that you hope you never have to use!

Being that we are getting ready to introduce solids to our 5 mo, I decided buying a LIVEVAC was finally imminent. If it would have shown up on the porch 48 hours later than it did we would have had to call 911, and who knows to what end. Our daughter was choking on LIQUID MEDICINE, and because it was syrupy and she was flemmy her airway was blocked. For whatever reason she wasn't able to clear her airway on her own or with back thrusts. Using the device in a time of panic was easy and cleared her airway with one compression. I will be buying more to keep in more than one place.

I provide care for small children during the day ranging from 6 months up to 4 years of age, having the LifeVac system brings me an additional step to my safety procedure which my parents truly appreciate. The appearance of the system is simple and compact making it easy to store. The pieces are all packed to ensure sterilization for use when needed. The product comes with two different sizes, adult and child making it extremely versatile. The seal is extremely strong and provides excellent suction. I am certified, but having this as an additional option has been wonderful. I take my job very seriously, as I am responsible for providing and caring for the lives of others. The performance of this product is reliable and recommended.

If you have kids, this product definitely is a must have for at-home or in your vehicle. This gives me a peace of mind since kids can get into some crazy stuff, especially toddler ages. It comes with 1 child cover and 1 adult cover, and it’s a potential lifesaver product that I hope I never have to use but good to have. Definitely a product that is on the expensive end, but money comes back, and a life doesn’t. Just get it. I got this for my truck since we were traveling and wanted to have this just in case. I hooked this up on a molle panel in my truck and it stays there. Definitely going to have to buy two more for one inside the house and one for my wife’s car.

I purchased this item in 2021. Yesterday, in 2026, I had to put it to use. was alone and I choked on a piece of chicken. I knew there was not going to be enough time for 911 services to get to me, so I grabbed the LifeVac. I pushed the plunger the first time a little tentatively, and the bite did come up some. I pushed more forcefully on the plunger the second try and the chicken was completely dislodged from from airway, leaving me completely able to breath again. Scary, but the LifeVac did exactly what it was designed to do! NOW A WORD OF WARNING IN REFERENCE TO THESE KIND OF DEVICES: BE KNOWLEDGEABLE OF HOW THEY WORK AND HOW TO OPEARATE THEM BEFORE AN INCIDENT OCCURS. UNPACKAGE THEM COMPLETELY. DO NOT HAVE THEM IN THE BAG OR WHATEVER THEY MAY COME PACKAGED IN. PLACE THE APPARATUS IN A PLACE WHERE IT IS CONSPICUOUS. DO NOT HAVE IT IN A DRAWER, INSIDE A CABINET, OR WHERE IT CANNOT BE OPENLY SEEN. THE DEVICE NEEDS TO BE TOTALLY ACCESSIBLE FOR QUICK USE. (Mine was hung at the end of a cabinet on a nail by a cord around the handle, so I could just grab it. BTW, right next to my fire safety blanket.) This was a true emergency and if I had not had this device on hand and ready to use, I reiterate, there was no way emergency services could have reached me in time. I feel this item truly saved my life.

This is one of those products you hope you never have to find out if it works ... but having it on hand will give you a little more piece of mind. If something gets lodged in your airway, unless you are pretty comfortable doing the Heimlich Maneuver on yourself using the back of a chair ... you'll want something like this to aid you.Full disclosure, I have seen many advertisements for similar products but, other than testing the 'suction' on a counter top, like in my video, I can't say if this will work in an actual emergency. I hope it is as good as the ads say. The suction seems a little weak to pull an object really lodged in an airway out ... but I have no idea how much is required for that.You get an adult-sized mask and a child-sized mask, which pop onto the main device easily. It comes in a bag with two pad swabs and a terribly translated to English list of instructions. I like the bag, even though cheaply made because it allows you to store it more easily.My hands are pretty big, so I may have a little trouble pumping this while pressing it onto someone's face. The unit is fairly small and made of really lightweight injection blown plastic. I expected it to feel more substantial. This feels like a toy.Overall, its good to keep around, however, I'd be more confident in doing the Heimlich Maneuver first and if that failed, trying this. As described. Quality feels good, doesn't feel like it's cheap or going to break. Easy to use, decent suction. A must have for peace of mind with children or elderly. Comes with adult and childrens size mask.

This is one of those things that I hope I will NEVER use, but I can tell you VERY confidently that if I ever do , I am 100 percent sure that it will definitely be a potential LIFESAVER and from what I can tell from inspecting the parts, this complete kit WILL perform exactly as it is designed to. It seems to be made VERY well and is a complete kit, with simple instructions included.The concept is simple. When someone is choking , they need forces opposite to the forces that initiated the choking in the first place to be applied if there is any chance of stopping the choking. If one could reverse gravity, that would be helpful in some cases but that wont happen. If one could reverse the combination of muscle actions that contributed to the choking that could also POSSIBLY be helpful but good luck with that. Now if one could reverse TIME then that would most DEFINITELY be useful in stopping the choking right? Not happening.This device simply applies NEGATIVE air pressure in the OPPOSITE direction of normal airflow through the esophagus/windpipe/lungs repetatively in an effort to reverse the direction of the obstruction causing the choking and while I am DEFINTELY no doctor, nurse or medical guru of ANY kind, I feel this concept to be SOUND and most likely VERY EFFECTIVE, giving the victim a fighting chance!I have grandkids running around here all of the time as well as some adults who have been observed attempting to eagerly "inhale" their food from time to time so this device is VERY nice to have around!Now, me being me and all that , I HAD to try this thing out on myself out of pure curiosty and let me tell you, it provides a VERY high and consistent amount of suction on the upstroke of the pump and that is just with me barely moving the plunger ! Please dont be like me and try that at home ladies and gentlemen! Just take my word for it, it WILL work beautifully when and if it ever needs to!I have ZERO doubts this thing could save a life or two and I am very glad to have it around just in case I need it for that reason.

This travel device has saved my daughter's life twice and we are forever grateful! We have one in each of our cars and I keep one in my diaper bag if we are away from the car (mall, hiking, picnics, etc.). I honestly don't know what our lives would be like without this incredible device. Thank you

I purchased a set for my home and my son's family. They just had a baby and will be here for a while too. I am very aware of choking hazards since my child had an accident many years ago. My wife ordered one and I didn't think much of it at first. Now she keeps telling me how many lives it has saved. With five people running around in the house and absentmindedly eating all kinds of food, it's nice to know it's there when needed.

We got this thing recently. if we ever have to use it on us or anyone else even one time, it would be worth it. the cheaper ones don't work the same. and it's very small and portable. Maybe the masks can also double as a CPR mask? I will have to try. Anyways hope to never have to use it of course. We have it in the car so it's accessible at restaurants or at home. Peace of mind.

I originally purchased this product for the home because I have children and an elder parent. However, out precious dog, Charlie started to choke on a snack and I remembered that I had this device. I picked him up and ran to the room. I put the device together and pumped it twice. On the second pump, I felt the suction pressure and he started to breath! My children and I are SO grateful for this product. It saves human lives, but it also saved our precious pet's life too! Thank God!

Great tool to have handy and easily accessible. Worth every penny. Our 9yr old son whom has Down Syndrome, was choking on his food. To the point he turned blue in the face. Being limited on his verbal skills it was difficult to understand him. Once we realized he was in distress we immediately applied the tool to use and worked a miracle. my wife has gottn choked three time and I have used the standing Himenic process and help get her throat cleared, I then ordered this as a more positive tool to use

I have been a Paramedic for 32 years, I would highly recommend this product.
Of course we use conventional methods of relieving an obstruction, but when we use those techniques and it doesn’t work, we can now use the LifeVac…..made for Adults & Kids and if you use it….THEY REPLACE IT FOR FREE!!! Awesome 😎
