I had seen these types of toys trending on social media, so I was excited to try one. This little banana toy is soft, cute, and surprisingly fun to play with. My 3-year-old really enjoyed figuring out how to make the music play by touching the little metal circles. Then my husband came over, held his hand, and tapped his nose to make the song play, which absolutely blew my son’s mind. Obviously there is some kind of science/circuit connection happening, but to a toddler it basically feels like magic. The toy itself is soft and lightweight, and the battery compartment is tucked inside a zippered section, which helps keep it out of the way during play. It also has an on/off switch, so you can turn it off when you are done using it. Overall, this is a fun little sensory toy. It is cute, soft, interactive, and entertaining to experiment with. My son does not understand the science behind it yet, but he definitely thinks it is cool that he can make music play by touching someone’s hand and tapping his nose.

It's so fun touching the other person's arm or something and it plays the melody (as long as both of you are touching each end of the toy). Love this! Buying another for fun gifts. Brings out the joy in our house because it's so silly and fun!

🍓 Adorable and surprisingly fun! This strawberry plush is absolutely adorable and much more interactive than I expected. It uses 2 AA batteries and actually comes with 3 batteries included, which was a really nice bonus. The little metal tabs on the hands activate the sounds when you touch them. You can play individual notes by completing the circuit with your skin, and the really fun part is that two people can each touch one of the metal tabs and then touch each other to complete the circuit and play a note. It has several songs built in, starting with Happy Birthday. Give it a good tap on the back and it moves on to the next song. It will play the entire song on its own, but touching the metal tabs switches it back to the one-note-per-touch mode. It’s soft, cute, and genuinely fun to play with. A really entertaining interactive plush for kids or adults. 🍓

This has got to be one of the best sensory toys out there. Works like magic, and you can't play alone to enjoy it fully, so kids are forced to play with others. This is a cute musical toy that my kids really enjoy. When it arrives you need to install the batteries, and then it's good to go. The toy actually comes with 3 batteries (you only need 2, so one is a spare), which is nice because most toys do not come with the batteries. We got the strawberry plush version. You can put the toy in different music modes. One mode is just playing music, which does not require you to touch the plushie. It plays classic kids' songs like Baa Baa Black Sheep, Happy Birthday, Skip to my Lou, Here we go Looby Loo, etc. There's a few I'm not familiar with as well. Some songs include lyrics, while others are just instrumental. When you tap the back of the strawberry, it will play one of these songs, and eventually if you stop touching it, it will go quiet. The other mode is where you hold both electrodes at the sides of the strawberry and each time you take your finger off and tap it again, it will play a note. It can play different instruments like piano, drums, etc. You can also do it with two people where each one holds one electrode and then you complete the circuit by tapping each other to play the notes. I saw one other review that complained about how they don't want current flowing through their kid's body, but this toy has such low levels of current that it's completely safe and imperceptible. You get more current going down a slide at the playground than using this toy (ever feel that little zap after going down the slide?). This toy is perfectly safe. The strawberry is also just a cute little stuffy toy that can be for cuddling. It's about the size of a cantaloupe. Importantly, there is an off switch for the music for when you're just done with it. My girls (age 4 and 1) loved playing with it and having a dance party to the music!

This toy is super cute. My baby has a lot of fun with this little banana. It has various melodies when you lightly bop the toy. When you touch both sides it switches modes in which you can add your own personal touch of tempo and rhythm to certain melodies when interacting with the touch sensors. It was not long before I ran out of battery.

I like the zipper in the back. The only downside is replacing the batteries is a bit of a hassle. Inside the zipper is a battery housing that is closed by a small screw. It comes with a small Phillips tool which is nice. However, to use it every time to replace the battery will be inconvenient. I also love the peel design with the snap closures—it stays neatly wrapped or can be opened for an extra playful touch. The stitching feels well made, and the colors are bright and vibrant without looking cheap. It’s cute and unique.
