Breathable Women's Shorts - High-Waist, Belted, Wide-Leg, Cotton-Linen Blend, Casual Daily Wear

I got these shorts for my granddaughter, who likes hiking and outdoor activities. Her requirements were neutral color (sage green, check), large pockets for her cell phone (two large pockets in the front and two smaller ones in the back, check), elastic waist or drawstring (they have both, check), stylish length (4" inseams, check), quality material that won't split at the seams and heavy, but breathable material (linen blend and good construction, check). She wears a size 16 and they seemed a little on the small side for an X-large, but she liked the way they fit. She was especially impressed with the feel of the fabric, soft and not scratchy for linen. The leg hems are finished in faux cuffs for a more stylish look. The shorts are well-constructed and look like they will last through many more hikes. High style and good quality in your choice of colors.

Shorts with elastic waistband, tie strings, and pockets both front and back available in several colors. I chose medium blue and the color is consistent with the listing color. They're not quite as bright as they look in my photos (my phone camera tends to over-saturate blue).
I'm above-average height and wear size L in dresses and shirts but I usually need one size larger in pants and shorts because my hips are curvy and I have long legs. The size chart suggested medium, but I ordered XL and it fits. There's a little extra space in the waist but the tie strings cinched it in for a better fit.
They're washable at cooler temperatures. I air dry or use a low perma-press dryer setting and then hang them to dry the rest of the way. The Lyocell/linen blend tends to wrinkle, but it only takes a couple of minutes to freshen them with an iron on a low setting.
The stitching is good, the style is attractive, with cuffs and pockets that look like they belong. They're practical and comfortable. Now that summer is almost here, I use them regularly.

These shorts are fantastic for summer travel or lazy days. The linen blend feels soft, lightweight, and airy, but after a good wash and dry it does have as much wrinkling as pure linen.

The drawstring waist keeps the look comfortable and casual. It has four pockets, and the front ones are deep enough to easily fit a large phone. Just keep in mind that because the fabric is lightweight, loading up the pockets will create a visible bulge on your thighs!

I find it really hard to find clothes being 2 months postpartum. I am so happy with these shorts!! I have an incredibly difficult time finding shorts and pants that I like and find comfortable throughout the year, and these nailed it. While I prefer all natural materials, this mixture of materials with lyocel is gold. It has almost a slippery feeling in a good way--it is so airy and light and doesn't bother me like so many other shorts. I get hot so easily and have to do a lot for squatting down for my kids, and these allow that. It's the perfect length for me. Normally, I choose shorts that go to my knees, but these work perfectly! They don't ride up. If you have issues with shorts riding up, I think you'll find these a relief! Also, I LOVE the pockets. I can fit my Samsung S23 Ultra in there no problem, and it isn't banging against me because of the shape/size/location of the pockets.
The only things I wish were different is I am not an big fan of drawstrings; I would prefer no drawstring. Of course, you could always just pull the drawstring out and the elastic will do just fine. Also, I do wish it were natural materials, but then it wouldn't have the same sliding, cooling effect.
I will be buying more of these for the summer!!!
I am normally a size 18 dress, and an XL fit me great.

I ordered these shorts because I love the look and feel of linen in the summertime, but I don't love how much linen wrinkles. And lyocell can be so silky feeling. This combo fabric combines the best of both worlds. That's not to say the lyocell doesn't wrinkle at all... it does, so you have to take care not to leave it in a heap in the laundry basket... but it wrinkles a lot less than linen.

These shorts feel very well-made. The stitching is precise and strong, the waistband is stitched through the elastic so that it doesn't roll, and the silver-colored accent hardware (eyelets and aglets) is a really nice touch. Note that because I ordered the dark blue color, the shorts I received are unlined, which is fine. You really can't see through the dark color while wearing them.

My one wish is that I had sized up a bit. I'm 5'1" and range between 120 and 125 lb, so I ordered Small, my usual size. They fit fine in the hips and butt, which are the most important places for me, especially with this type of unstretchy fabric, but the waistband feels a bit too snug. Not "I can't breathe" tight, but I just prefer a looser fit. I like them so much, I may let out some of the elastic a bit. That will require finding thread that matches well because, as I said, the waistband stitching goes all the way through the elastic to the outside of the garment, but I would rather do that than avoid wearing them due to my sensory issues.

Note that the tag says you should wash them in cold water and do not tumble dry. That's impractical for me, so I went ahead and washed them in warm along with my normal laundry and dried them on the easy care setting of my dryer. They came out much softer than when they arrived, and I didn't notice any shrinkage.

These shorts are super comfy and lightweight. The elastic waistband with the drawstring makes them easy to adjust, and the pockets are actually useful. The fabric feels breathable, though it’s a bit thin. Overall, cute, casual, and great for everyday wear.

These are a fantastic pair of shorts. I love the inseam length- they’re not too long and not too short. I am a size medium, but I got a size large to ensure comfort and a looser fit. They fit exactly as I hoped.

The fabric is silky and drapes well, lightweight and perfect for summer casual. The elastic high waist with ties doesn’t pinch or grab, and the overall sizing of these is spot on. The pockets are large and roomy, ideal for someone like me that carries everything in pockets rather than a purse.

These are so comfortable that I actually look forward to putting them on, and am going to order more colors. These are now a staple in my wardrobe.

I decided to carpe the diem and got these in white, intrigued by the fact they’re lined. The lining is great to have but I’m still going to wear discreetly colored underwear beneath, to be on the safe side. It’s also a bummer that these require washing in cold water, since it’s gonna be way harder to get out stains at that temperature.

I’m a big fan of both lyocell and linen as fabrics but couldn’t imagine what they’d be like together! The answer is: soft and lightweight. I’m definitely not complaining.

I love that these have four(!) pockets. And that the waistband is thick enough to create a smooth line/reduce the chance of muffintop. (Tho’ TBD how I feel about it on a tender tummy day.) LOVE the 4” inseam (I’m 5’9”), though even for someone much shorter these definitely aren’t ’bermuda shorts’ like it says in the listing.

My only two complaints are aesthetic and based on personal preference. One, the placement of the pockets means that as soon as you slip a phone or anything else in, it’s adding a big ol’ bulge in the thigh area. And two, the drawstring ensures these are unmistakably casual shorts — not easily passed off as a dressier pair. But c’est la vie, I guess I’ll be forced to relax in them.

I love these shorts. I ordered my regular size and they are perfect. They are comfortable and cool. I just purchased another pair. I am 5’4 and weigh 130 pounds. Purchased medium.

Worn this on hot days and it felt light and breathable the whole time. The waistband is comfortable without digging in, and the drawingstring helps adjust the fit a bit. Also appreciated having the big pockets since a lot of shorts like this don't.
